Going on a trip to Sunflower mine

It was a wet and rainy day. I decided to go by the Four Peaks Pickup site to see how the trash pile had been taken care of. It hadn't...
Unfortunately, the smoldering mess was still there...Photobucket

It was upsetting, but I knew that the FS would come out and be handling it. I just hoped that I wouldn't have to bug them too much to get it done.
Off to playing for now.

As usual the mine looked amazing. There was so much to see it was like an ever changing work of art.

Water had made some real changes in the area around the mine. Lots of erosion.

We went shooting just across from four peaks to check it out. It was pretty badd all over out here...

On our way back into town we decided to see if we could explore a new area on the way home. Its near the road, but wow it is nice there.

Hey Tim, do you know what trail you guys did? It looks pretty cool out there. We are planing a trip to four peaks and I would like to do the same run. If you have a GPS log or trail coordinates send them on...Thanks csamano
