Taos

Did a little trip to Taos, NM.

Great place. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Lots of funny signs on the mountain!

I'd have to say this was my favorite. Big corporate ski resorts don't have this kind of sense of humor!

One of my new favorite beers.

It's a local Santa Fe brew. It was everywhere in New Mexico. The locals were proud to say it was the first NM beer in a can. Nice and strong IPA and the NM pride on the can was good to see.

Taos is a big mountain with a very small hard to get to town. Therefore, you get a giant mountain with plenty of steep and deep with NO lift lines. In fact we joked the first time we actually got to a lift and there was a party of three ahead of us once!!

The Bavarian. What do you get when an Austrian immigrant to the US wants to create an authentic chateau in the mountains. A killer place to grab lunch, dinner or just some Spaten.
My pops goes on about the different types of Spaten.

Right at the bottom of one of the lifts. Perfect place to grab some brats and beers for lunch!

Inside of the Bavarian. Not cheezy at all. In fact, it was very nicely built.
